valedictory Function -25th February 2023
The Valedictory function for II PU students of the academic year 2022-2023 was held in our college on 25th February 2023. The function was presided over by Hon. President of AGI, Sri Padmraj Mehta and Dr.S Prashanth, principal SRN ADARSH PU College.
Sri Narendra Babu J.N. Professor Dept. of Commerce Govt. Pu college T. Dasarhalli, Bengaluru , alumni of SRN Adarsh College graced this occasion as the Chief Guest. He addressed the gathering and advised the students to have concentration in their studies and have respect for their parents, teachers and elders for a holistic development.
Our students were highly motivated by his inspiring speech. Sri Padamraj Mehta President advised the students to have self-confidence and to perform well in the Board Exam. Dr. S Prashanth Principal encouraged the students to inculcate human values and to be humble in life to succeed.
Various academic, cultural and sports awards were distributed by the dignitaries. The students participated enthusiastically in many games organized by the faculty. A sumptuous lunch was arranged for all.
TRIP TO WONDERLA 13 Jan 2023
A wonderful trip to Wonderla was arranged for our students on the 13th of January 2023. Many students went to Wonderla in buses enjoying Antyakshari and dance. They played all the games available in Wonderla and felt rejuvenated. All the faculty accompanied them and supervised them. It was a memorable trip.
ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET – 2022-23 10 Jan 2023
Annual Athletic Meet of S.R.N. Adarsh P.U. College was held on the 10th of January 2023 at the Police Grounds, Sirsi Circle, Chamarajpet. The Athletic Meet was inaugurated by Sri. Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh who was the chief guest. Dr. S. Prashanth, Principal of S.R.N. Adarsh P.U.College welcomed the gathering.
Many events like running race, kabaddi, relay, tug of war etc. were held for the students. Many students participated enthusiastically and won the prizes. Even the faculty members participated in some of the events. All the lecturers and students were present. The non-teaching staff supported the students throughout the day. The crowd cheered the participants who exhibited their sportsman spirit.
GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION 26 November 2022
Golden Jubilee of Adarsh Vidya Sangh (S.R.N. Adarsh P.U. College) was celebrated on the 26th of November 2022 along with our Degree college at Central University auditorium. Sri. L.A. Ravisubramanya, member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly of Basavanagudi constituency was the chief guest.
Sri. Padamraj Mehta, President of Adarsh Vidya Sangh, presided over the function. Sri. Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh, Former Presidents Sri. Hastimal Sisodia, Sri. K K Bhansali, Celebration Committee Chairman Sri. Mahaveer Khanted, Souvenir Chairman Sri. Praveen Bafna
and other Executive Committee Members and Office bearers of Adarsh Vidya Sangh graced the function. MBA Director and Principal Sri. R Venkata Raman, Dr. Shakuntala Samuelson, Principal of Adarsh Degree College, Dr. S Prashanth, Principal of Adarsha P.U. College, Dr. Anil Kumar, Principal of S R N Adarsh Evening College were present. Sri. Ravisubramanya addressed the gathering and praised Adarsh Vidya Sangh for their social service in the field of education. Sir appreciated the Management for providing education to the Dumb and Deaf students along with the normal students. Senior Staff who had completed 25 and more years of service were felicitated on this occasion.
All the staff and students actively participated. The formal function was followed by the colourful cultural events by our students. They entertained the spectators with songs, dances and skits.
ADARSH AKARSHAN – CULTURAL & SPORTS INTER SCHOOL COMPETITIONS on 18th and 19th November 2022
An Inter School Fest – ‘Adarsh Akarshan’ was conducted on 18th and 19th Nov. 2022 in our College premises.
Sri. B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan – M L A of Chamarajpet Constituency was the Chief Guest for the formal function on 18th Nov. 2022. Sri. Anand Raj, Deputy Director and Sri. Manjunath, Assistant Director, Pre University Education Board, Bengaluru South District were Guests of Honour.
Sri. Chandrashekhar Ex. Corporator, Sri. Padam Raj Mehta, President of Adarsh Vidya Sangh and Sri. Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh, Sri. Ashok Kumar P – Co-ordinator of Adarsh Vidya Sangh and Dr. S Prashant – the Principal of SRN Adarsh P.U. College decorated the stage.
Sri. B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan addressed the gathering and stressed the importance of education in life. Sri. Anand Raj praised the Institution for its great achievement for completion of 50 years and for doing social service in the field of education.
Nearly 600 students from different High Schools participated both in cultural and sports competitions and won many prizes. The competitions like, solo & group singing, dumb charades, hair style, art out of waste, mimicry, pick and speak, Power point presentation, paper art, mehndi, geetavaachana, solo & group dance, social science and science exhibitions and sports competitions like, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Cricket and Throw ball were conducted.
The valedictory function was held on the 19th Nov. 2022. Sri. Manojavvam Atreya – the famous singer was the Chief Guest.
The prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Sri. Manojavvam Atreya, inspired the students by his speech and singing.
The student volunteers guided and helped the High School participants and were appreciated.
ಕನಕದಾಸ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಣೆ 11 November 2022
ದಿನಾಂಕ ೧೧.೧೧.೨೦೨೨ರಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ದಾಸಶ್ರೇಷ್ಟ ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಭಾವಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುಷ್ಪನಮನವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಇತಿಹಾಸ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮಂಜುಳ ವಿ.ಕೆ. ಅವರು ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಶ್ರಾವ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ. ಕೆ. ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನರವರು ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಜೀವನ, ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ರವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ ತತ್ವಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ನಾಡಿಗೆ, ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಆಡಳಿತವರ್ಗ, ಕಛೇರಿ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
KARNATAKA RAJYOTHSAVA 10 November 2022
67th Karnataka Rajyothsava was celebrated on 10th Nov. 2022 in our Institution with patriotic zeal. The function was presided over by Sri. Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh. Dr. Shankuntala Samuelson, Dr. S Prashanth, Principals of SRN Adarsh Degree and P.U. Colleges decorated the stage along with the Chief Guest.
Sri. Y V Gundurao, a famous Kannada humorist and orator was the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion. Sir hoisted the flag with other dignitaries and the State Anthem was sung by all. The Chief Guest spoke in a humorous way to make the audience develop love and affection towards Kannada language and culture. Sir motivated the students to read, write and speak Kannada, to become Kannadigas in the true sense of the term.
Sri. Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary wished happy Rajyothsava to the audience. Dr. Shankuntala Samuelson, Dr. S Prashanth, Principals of SRN Adarsh Degree and P.U. Colleges also wished and spoke about the importance of one’s motherland and language.
The formal function was followed by enchanting cultural programmes by both PUC and UG students. All the staff members and the students enjoyed the performances. Sweets were distributed to all the students at the end of the programme.
ADARSH SPOORTHY 07 Nov 2022-12 Nov2022
The Inter-class Competitions – Adarsh Spoorthy – were held from 07. 11. 2022 to 12. 11. 2022. Many students participated enthusiastically and won the prizes. The lecturers in charge conducted the events in the afternoon on the days allotted for the events. The Head boy and the Head girl and the class representatives also coordinated.

Cancer awareness program- 5th Nov 2022
The program was started with Navkar Mantra followed by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries, Dr Mathangi J, Radiation Oncologist, BGS Gleneagles Global Hospitals, and Bangalore. Dr Prashanth S, Principal PU college, Dr Shakuntala Samuelson, Principal Degree college. The Breast cancer and Lung cancer awareness program was conducted in association with Oracle Company and the Indian Cancer Society in Adarsh college for PU and Degree girl students and the staff on 5th Nov 2022 at MBA Auditorium.
The program was started with Navkar Mantra followed by lighting the lamp by the dignitaries, Dr Mathangi J, Radiation Oncologist, BGS Gleneagles Global Hospitals, and Bangalore. Dr Prashanth S, Principal PU college, Dr Shakuntala Samuelson, Principal Degree college.
Dr Mathangi addressed the gathering and shared valuable information regarding Breast and Lung cancer.
Explained in detail about the self-examination of breasts. Healthy lifestyle habits and preventive methods were explained in detail. Overall the session was enthralling and created awareness among the audience. The Zumba session was conducted by an Oracle volunteer. Students and Lecturers went for Walkathon holding placards to create awareness among the Public. Refreshments were served to all the student’s Lunch was served to the teaching staff after the Rally.
ಕೋಟಿ ಕಂಠ ಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ 28 Oct 2022
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ೬೭ನೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಕೋಟಿ ಕಂಠ ಗಾಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸೂಚಿತ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೀತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಮೋಹಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡಾಂಬೇಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
DANDIYA 30 Sep 2022
‘Navarathri’ was celebrated with religious fervor in our College on 30th Sept. 2022. ‘Dandiya’ was arranged on this occasion.
Sri. Jitendra Maradiya Sir, Hon. Secretary of Adarsh Vidya Sangh inaugurated the programme. Sir wished all the students and staff . Principal of Adarsh P.U. College,
Dr. S Prashanth also wished the students and staff.
Saraswathi Pooja was held at our Library. All the staff took part in it with devotion.
Students participated enthusiastically in Dandiya and enjoyed a lot. Many others cheered them. All the faculty members and students witnessed and enjoyed the celebration.
INTER-CLASS SPORTS 12 Sep 2022 & 13 Sep 2022
The inter-class sport competitions were conducted for our students on 12.09.2022 and 13.09.2022 in the college ground. The Volley Ball and Throw Ball competitions were held on 12.09.2022 and the Kabaddi competition was held on 13.09.2022 . The students participated enthusiastically.
The Volley Ball competition was won by I P.U. ‘D’ section team. The second prize was won by II P.U. ‘D’ section team. The third prize was won II P.U. ‘B’ section team.
The Throw Ball competition was won by II P.U. ‘A’ and ‘B’ section girls. The girls of I P.U. ‘D’ and II P.U. ‘B’ sections secured the II place.
The Kabaddi competition for girls was won by II P.U. ‘A’ and ‘B’ section team. The second prize was won by II P.U. ‘C’ and I P.U. ‘D’ team. The third prize was secured by the hearing impaired students of II P.U. ‘B’ section.
The Kabaddi competition for boys was won by I P.U. ‘A’ section team. The second prize was won by II P.U. ‘A’ section team. The third prize was secured by II P.U. ‘B’ team.
There were 8 teams in each of the events. The teams which were playing were cheered by the others. The physical education director K. Shreenivas was in charge of all the events. The Principal Dr. S. Prashanth motivated the students and advised them to develop sportsman spirit
TEACHERS DAY-5 Sep 2022
Teacher’s day was celebrated in our college on the 5th of September 2022.by the students. Sri Jitendar Mardia , Hon. Secretary of AGI addressed the gathering. Sir asked the students to show gratitude to all the teachers who have taught, guided or motivated them so far including the mother who is the first teacher.
Various cultural programs were arranged by the students to entertain the teachers. Several games were also arranged for teachers who participated enthusiastically. The principal Dr. S.Prashanth, all the faculty, and the students were present and enjoyed the program.
Investiture Ceremony, 23rd of August 2022
The Investiture Ceremony of SRN Adarsh PU College for the academic year 2022-23 was held on the 23rd of August 2022 at College auditorium. The chief guest for the event was Sri Rakshith Inspector of Police, K.G. Nagar Police station, Bengaluru.
The ceremony was held with great zeal and zest. The Chief Guest Inspector Rakshith, Hon.Secretary Jitender Mardia Sir and Principal Dr.Prashanth sir. Sub-Inspector of Police: Mr.Manoj, Mr.Nagabhushan and Mr.Praveen graced the event along with the chief guest.
Hon. Chief Guest and Hon. Secretory addressed the students and motivated them through their speech.
Elected Head boy, Head Girl, cultural and sport secretaries and class representatives of 1st PUC A, B, C and D sections and 2nd PUC A, B, C and D sections were conferred with Badges by Hon. Chief Guest, Hon. Secretory and Police sub Inspectors.
The student council took the pledge to uphold the dignity and decorum of the Institution in high esteem. The function concluded with the National Anthem.
INDEPENDENCE DAY, 15th August 2022
India celebrating its 76th Independence day on 15th August 2022. To celebrate this day in our college conducted flag hoisting ceremony as a part of the central govt. initiative “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. All the dignitaries took part in hoisting the national flag and conveyed their wishes to the students and faculty members.

ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರ್ಯಾಗಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅಂತಹ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬoದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ವಿಧಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕಾನೂನನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಂಚಾರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ. ಪುಷ್ಪರಾಜು ಅವರು ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಯಮಗಳ ಪಾಲನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರವಾಹನ ಚಾಲನೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಶಿರಸ್ತಾçಣ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿ ಧರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಸ್. ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
TEACHERS' CONVENTION @ RAMAKRISHNA MATH, 30th July 2022
In commemoration of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav a Teachers’ Convention was held at Ramakrishna Math, Bull Temple Road, Bengaluru. All the faculty members of our college attended the Convention.
The Convention began with a religious note of Bhajans by Swami Tadyuktanandaji Maharaj and his troup in which many songs were devoted to teachers and their importance. Swamiji also guided the participants to meditate for 15 minutes. He also briefed about the importance of meditation.
Dr. Manjula V.K., Lecturer in History, welcomed the gathering and the resource persons and also introduced the resource persons.
Sri Raghottam Rao Kashi was the first resource person who gave a lecture on ‘Learn, de-learn and re-learn’. Sir pointed out that every teacher should learn persistently from books, others and nature.
Swami Mangalanathanandaji Maharaj from Shivanahalli branch of Ramakrishna Math, was the second resource person who mainly dealt with neuroscience. Smamiji explained how human brain is divided into the reptile brain and the upper brain.
The Convention began and ended punctually. There were around 200 faculty from many colleges. All of them felt happy about it and it was very useful. The participants enjoyed the holistic atmosphere and a delicious meal which was served at the end.
Talents Day, 26th July 2022
Talents Day was celebrated in our college on 26.07.2022 to provide an opportunity to the students to provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their talents. The function was inaugurated by the principal, Dr.S. Prashanth who inspired the students to exhibit their various talents.
The programme was started with a traditional Bharathanatya dance by Yashaswini of I P.U. The students performed solo and group dances . Many participants attracted the audience by solo and group singing.
I PUC student Ruchir solved the Rubik’s cube. It was a very colorful event in which many students emerged as the talented singers, dancers, and anchors. The dance performance of the dumb and deaf students was the highlight of the programme. Anush Raj of I P.U. science student won the hearts of the audience by playing the keyboard which was unique. More than 70 students exhibited their talents enthusiastically in various events.
All the faculty and the students were present and enjoyed the programme.
Vanamahotsava, 8th July 2022
We celebrated ‘Vanamahotsava'(planting of saplings) in our Institution site at Kumbalagodu on 8th July 2022. Our President, Sri. Padam Raj Mehta presided over the function and also addressed the gathering by suggesting them to be aware of environment. Sri. Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary also spoke about the importance of environment and also suggested the students to save nature for the future generation.
All the dignitaries including Principal, Dr. S Prashanth, N.S.S. Co-ordinator Mr. Mallikarjuna K, Physical Education Director, K Srinivasa and all the NSS students planted saplings.
Our NSS students took oath from the Principal regarding the environmental protection on this green occasion.
Orientation Programme on CA Foundation Course for 1st PU Students, 2nd July 2022
The Orientation Programme was conducted by “ARIVUPRO” academy for 1st PU Students at our college auditorium on 2nd July 2022. Dr.S. Prashanth, Principal of SRN Adarsh PU College welcomed the gathering.
ARIVUPRO is a coaching academy which helps students to prepare exams like CA, CS, ACCA and CMA. CA Sandhya.P.Nagar explained about the professional course: the various levels of CA, how to prepare for taking up the CA exam at PUC level, Fee structure and duration of the course.
It was wonderful exposure for the PU students as they got in-depth knowledge about the complete CA Course and the wide array of job opportunities open for them, after the completion of the course.
he programme was concluded with a thank you note to the speakers and the management, for organizing an informative session.
Orientation Programme for I PU students, 23rd to 25th June 2022
An orientation programme was conducted for I PU students in our college for three days on 23rd – 25th June 2022. The team of resource persons were from the organization ‘AHEAD’ ( Association for Holistic Education and Development).
The principal Dr.S. Prashanth addressed the students. He motivated and inspired the students to get the maximum benefits from this programme.
The orientation programme was started with yoga training. Later the students were given the interactive sessions on different topics like Self -awareness, Indian culture & Heritage, Time management, Effects of social Media etc. The students were made aware of the importance of the qualities like gratitude and appreciation.
The students participated enthusiastically throughout the sessions. It was very helpful for all round development of their personality. Thus the programme was very useful and productive.
I PU INAUGUARAL FUNCTION – 2022 - 22nd June 2022
The Inaugural function for I puc students of our college was held on 22nd June 2022. The function was presided over by Sri PadamRaj Mehta, Hon. President of Adarsh Vidhya Sangh, Dr. T.V. Raju Academic director for R V Group of institutions and the Syndicate member of Bengaluru University was the chief guest. Mr. Anandraj, DDPU for Bengaluru South was the guest of honour. Mr. Manjunath Assistant director was also present.
The vice president of AGI Mr. Sanjay Dariwal, Joint secretary Mr. Mahesh Nahar, Mr. Ashok Jain Committee member were present.
Dr. T V Raju, the chief guest, motivated the students by guiding them how to take decisions and solve problems in life. Sir also advised the parents to guide their children properly.
Mr. Anandraju DDPU, asked the students to make use of the facilities provided by the college. He also advised the students to be obedient to their parents so that they can have long life and happiness.
Mr. Manjunath, Assistant Director, motivated the students by giving tips on how to convert their dreams into reality.
Mr. Sanjay Dhariwal, vice-president of AGI thanked the parents for their faith in the institution. Sir asked the students to have proper vision and to put efforts to make their future very bright.
Mr. Mahesh Nahar, Joint secretary of AGI, congratulated the students for being the 50th batch. Sir asked the students to utilize the facilities given by the management.
In his presidential address, Shree Padmraj Mehta stressed the need to have a strong determination on the part of the students from which nobody can stop them. Sir also suggested the students to improve their general knowledge along with their studies.
Dr. S Prashanth, Principal of SRN Adarsh PU College, welcomed the gathering and gave instructions to the students.
International Yoga Day - 21st June 2022
Theme – Yoga for humanity.
On the occasion of 8th International Yoga Day, a programme was conducted at the premises of S.R.N Adarsh college. The programme commenced with the Navkar mantra. The function was presided over by honorable president of AGI, Shri Padamraj Mehta. The committee member of AGI, Sri Ashok Jain and the Principal of SRN Adarsh Pu college , Dr. S Prashanth were present on the stage.
The chief guest for the special day was Dr .M. S. Santosha, Guest faculty, University college of Physical education, Bangalore City University. Sir spoke about the importance of yoga and performed few asanas for the benefit of students.
The Principal Sir welcomed the gathering. Hon. President of AGI, Sri Padamraj Mehta and the committee member Sri Ashok Jain spoke on the importance of Yoga. A few students of second puc performed some asanas on the Dias. The programme concluded with vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
All the faculty members and the students were present on this occasion and came to know about the benefits of YOGA and also performed some yoga asanas under the guidance of Dr. Santhosha.
Orientation Programme for II PU students, 9 & 10-06-2022
An orientation programme was conducted for II PU students in our college for two days on 9th & 10th June 2022.The team of resource persons were from the organization ‘AHEAD’ ( Association for Holistic Education and Development).
The programme was inaugurated by the principal Dr.S.Prashanth. He motivated and inspired the students to get the maximum benefits from this programme.Principal Students meet was held on 11th June 2022.
He addressed the students and instructed about the rules & regulations of the college. Sri Basavraj Shankar Umrani , renowned Mathematician was present on this occasion . He gave tips on making Mathematics easier, improving memory power by concentration.
The orientation programme was started with yoga training. Later the students were given the interactive sessions on different topics like Self -awareness, Indian culture & Heritage, Time management, Effects of social Media etc. The students were made aware of the importance of the qualities like gratitude and appreciation.
The students participated enthusiastically throughout the sessions. It was very helpful for all –round development of their personality. Thus the programme was very useful and productive. Farewell Function, 01-04-2022
The farewell for II PU students of the academic year 2021-2022 was held in our college on 1st April 2022. The function was presided over by Hon. President of AGI Sri Padmraj Mehta. Sri Jitendra Mardia, Hon. Secretary of AGI and Dr. Nagesha N.S. principal of SRN ADARSH PU College were also present on the stage.
Srimad Tadyuktanandaji Maharaj from Sri Ramakrishna Vidyarthi Mandiram Basavangudi, Bengaluru graced this occasion as the Chief Guest. Swamiji addressed the gathering and motivated the students to be successful in their lives. Swamiji advised the students to have concentration, faith and to be part of an organization for the development of individual, society and the Nation. Our students were benefited by his inspiring speech.
Sri Padamraj Jain advised the students to have self-confidence and to perform well in the Board Exam. Dr. Nagesha N.S. encouraged the students to inculcate human values and to be humble in life to succeed.
Various academic,cultural and sports awards and prizes were distributed by all the dignitaries. The students participated enthusiastically in many games organized by the faculty. A sumptuous lunch was arranged for all.
