Journey of Adarsh Vidya Sangh
Adarsh Vidya Sangh proudly celebrates its 50th anniversary, marking a remarkable journey of dedication, growth, and excellence in education. From humble beginnings to a golden reality, this institution has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students.
The Visionary Beginning (1971)
On May 4, 1971, the foundation of Adarsh Vidya Sangh was laid with a vision to provide quality education in Hindi medium. The first campus was set up in a beautiful rented building at Santhusapet, where classes from 1st to 7th standard commenced.
The school was founded by two extraordinary visionaries:
- Late Shri V. Premrajji Bhansali – A leader with great foresight.
- Late Shri Parasmalji Meghaji – A dedicated and compassionate educationist.
Under the able presidentship of Shri Sohanlalji Sisodiya, the student strength rapidly grew from 25 to 160, a testament to the school’s impact and credibility.
Rapid Growth and Recognition
From its early years, Adarsh Vidya Sangh attracted influential leaders and dignitaries to its school programs. Some of the most notable events include:
1972-73 Annual Day Celebration – The prestigious event was graced by:
- Shri Mohanlalji Sukhadiya, the then Governor, as the Chief Guest.
- Padmashree Awardee Shri Mohanlalji Choradia, Shri Babutmalji Bhandari, and Shri Prasannchandji Nahar as the Guests of Honor.
Social Contributions – The institution was committed to societal welfare and even donated funds to the Bangladesh Relief Fund, which were handed over to Governor Shri Dharamveerji.
As the school continued its journey, the student strength surged to 300, solidifying its reputation as a premier educational institution.

Adarsh Vidya Sangh Expands Higher Education (1992)
Chamarajpet – 20,000 sq. ft. land acquired for PU, Degree & Evening College with modern facilities.
Inaugurated by: Sanghvi Champalalji Prakashchandji & Roopchandji Singhvi Family
Chief Guest: Shri Ananth Kumarji, then Civil Aviation Minister
