Eligibility & Required Documents
PUC (Commerce)
- Students who have successfully completed SSLC/10th standard from a recognized board or an equivalent qualification are eligible for admission to PUC.
B.Com
- Candidates who have completed the Two-year Pre-University Course (PUC) of Karnataka, 10+2 education in Karnataka or other states, or an equivalent qualification are eligible for B.Com admission.
- Students who have cleared 2nd PUC through open schooling are also eligible
M.Com
- Candidates who have passed a B.Com, B.B.A. or BMS degree examination from Bengaluru City University or another recognized university, with the required aggregate marks, are eligible for M.Com admission
- The current BCU 2025–26 regulations specify 50% aggregate, with stated relaxation for eligible categories.
Required Documents
- 10th/SSLC marks card
- 12th/PUC marks card — for B.Com
- Degree marks cards/certificate — for M.Com
- Transfer Certificate
- Government-issued ID proof
- Passport-size photographs
- Caste/Income certificate, if applicable
- Other documents required by the college/university
