INAUGURATION of I P.U. BATCH – 2023-24
The Inauguration of I P.U. Batch for the academic year 2023-24 was held on the 08th of June 2023 in our college. Dr. K. Sheshamurthy, former Syndicate Member, was the Chief Guest. Sri Anand Raj, Deputy Director, P.U.E.Board, Bengaluru South District, was the Guest of Honour. The function was presided over by Sri. Padamraj Mehta, Hon. President of A.G.I. Sri. Jitendra Maradia, Hon. Secretary of A.G.I. and Dr. S. Prashanth, Principal, were on the stage.
The Chief Guest Dr. K. Sheshamurthy addressed the gathering and appreciated the development of A.G.I. at the outset. Sir reminded the parents of their responsibility. He advised the audience to be service-minded. He further inspired the students to have interest and dedication to get proper education through some humorous anecdotes. The professor wished the best to the students and blessed them.
The Guest of Honour Sri. Anand Raj spoke about his rural background and inspired the students by his own example of hard work which helped him to succeed in his life. Sir pointed out the responsibility of teachers who should love their subjects, profession, and their students. Sir advised the students to be positive and to develop strong mind to face the challenges in life. The Deputy Director opined that education should be a passion. He further suggested that everybody should contribute to society after getting education. He also wished the best to the students.
Sri. Padamraj Mehta, in his presidential address, welcomed all the parents and students and wished the best to the students. Sir advised the students to excel in education to compete in the modern world. Sir also assured the best facilities and excellent coaching in our college.
The Principal Dr. S. Prashanth welcomed the guests, members of A.G.I., parents and students. Sir explained the importance of P.U. education and how it is a turning point in their lives. Later he introduced the faculty to the gathering and briefed about the rules and regulations of the college. He also sought the support of the parents to improve their wards.
The toppers and distinction holders of the academic year 2022-23 were felicitated. Those who had 100% attendance were given cash prize.
All the parents and the students of I P.U. attended the function. The teaching and non-teaching staff of our college were present. The N.S.S. students of II P.U. were the volunteers who guided the new students and the parents. The snacks were provided to everybody at the end of the programme. The Inauguration was a grand success thanks to the guidance of the Principal and the cooperation of the staff.
